Surely if those sites and machinery were important, the geniuses running the pentagon would have secured them:

Unguarded "largely" enough for them to be looted, or
abandoned largely enough to have produced no unconventional arms?

Both - no one will say "completely". Either there were NO unconventional arms, and NO unguarded facilities - or they were LARGELY blah blah - show me NUMBERS. How many were unguarded? 1? 2? 2234? And how many weapons sites were totally abondoned? 1? 2? 2235?
